The warriors then feasted on some of the raw organs while the rest cooked for us. We proceeded to have a good time, drinking beer and the cooked goat. It was like cookout back in the Midwest, except over an open fire in the middle of the day.

It felt like my heart was going to stop. She told me that I need to get some water. That I was having a panic attack. I could barely hear her. A panic attack – for the first time in my life.
This year I’m focusing on building up a big running base. That means getting out there again on a consistent basis. For that reason I’m not keeping track of mileage, but of total time spent running. This helps me focus a bit better on relaxing and not over-training, which I’ve accidentally done before. Time to hit the trails!
Looking at these now is funny. I wrote a lot a lot. I’m glad that I did though, because I forget everything. Happy they’re nearly consolidated…
