Alright, so here’s the thing.  My mom wants me to post anecdotes from my life at least once a week – I think that’s do-able.  At least depending on the Internet situation in China, which I hear is really amazingly quite amazing.

In any case, you can expect to hear about my struggles at least that often.  Sometimes even oftener, I suppose.  I can’t promise it’ll be anything good or interesting, but it will be something.

Who would’ve ever wondered that I would work on writing again willingly?  Who?  Only onions and and bananas, probably.  It was a lot of fun writing during my study abroad in Tanzania.  Seriously, I would splurge some emotion into a black leather journal one of my exes gave me and then copy it onto my blog.  It was pretty fun-tastic.  This time I’m going to cut out the middle man and post here straightaway, before any unnecessary malevolent thought bruises it’s way in.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
