So I haven’t been writing very much lately because I have been so busy! We have our first Kiswahili test tomorrow and the assignments for our research project are really starting to pick up. I am beginning to get nervous/excited about how it is all going to turn out in the end. I know that I am going to do my best.
Tomorrow night we are going as a group to an authentic Indian restaurant in the middle of Dar. I am excited to get a taste of it!! It will be fantastic.
I have really been enjoying this journey so far. It has been full of its ups and downs, its homesick moments and its epic times. I think everyone in the group likes me well enough. I am very thankful for that and I feel very blessed.
Also, today there were little grey Vervet monkeys studying with us at the degree tree! They were so cute! My tutors name for Kiswahili is Zaituni and she is a student of Kiswahili at the University. She is very friendly and helpful! I love everything and everyone here! Maintaining a positive attitude means everything.
