Getting Money

Yesterday we had another Kiswahili test (every Friday) and it was by far the toughest one yet!  Oh well.  I’m not really worried about any of my classes… I’ll be alright.  Nothing else really happened yesterday that is of note.  I went to Mlimani City to exchange another 150$ for shillings with Jake and Bob, but that’s about it.

Today, though, is going to be chalk full of activity!  We are driving up to a city along the coast called Bagamoyo, which means ‘a place for your soul to rest’ in Kiswahili.  I guess there is a resort there and we are staying on the beach! It’s going to be great hanging out with all my friends! First we are touring an old Catholic Mission, then seeing some ruins (Kaole).  I will be sure to get many pictures of everything (for as long as the battery in my camera lasts).  I am definitely excited to see everything!  This whole adventure has had so many new experiences for me and I am only one month into it! Crazy! And hard to believe!

I have been doing an extensive amount of push-ups and sit-ups every morning, which is making me feel really strong, physically.  I have been taking lots of classes, too, which is making me feel mentally sharp.  I feel very well all around; it is a good place to be.

May I send you a screenshot? In any event, maintain up the superior function; I surely like reading you. 829624
